I've picked up Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and got amazed. He resembles a lot Murakami. Their themes are similar, with this book in specific remembering me of "Norwegian Wood" and "Sputnik Sweetheart". I'm really liking the way that Kundera portrays life and its contradictions. The way that they talk about human relationships is incredibly alike. Basically, love is a thing that is not so much touched by both, but rather they write on how the individual perceives the world that surrounds them.

I need to learn how to actually code ASAP. Seriously, I'm basically limited to HTML since both my CSS and JavaScript knowledge are not good. Actually, and obviouslly, there isin't a single line of JavaScript in this website. Also, I just created a quick CSS design on the day I setted up my blog and basically forgot how to do most things (I only know how to insert images without having to check a thousand tutorials).

I didn't publish any new articles this month (I'll try to do one tommorow just to not have to say that). Moreover, Kindle removed the function of downloading books into your PC, making it now impossible to save some digital titles. If they're gone, they're gone.

School has come back again and now I'm on my sophomore year. To be honest, I haven't been updating this blog recently because I was... Actually, I just forgot. At least I found a really interesting topic I intend to discuss I'm the blog next!

It's february! January has passed really quickly. We're almost going back to school here in Brazil - for me in a few days life returns to normal. I also would like to thank all the ones who read my blog in the three months since I joined NeoCities. It's been really fun to learn something about coding (yes, I know HTML and CSS aren't programming languages, but still...) and web design. Also, it worked better than how I thought it would.

Solving math problems and not being able to correct them is strange. I'm currently self-studying topology with Bert Mendelson's book and it does not have solutions in the version I'm reading. I basically do everything and hope I'm right since there's no one who can correct me. Sometimes I try to find solutions online though. This is also kinda bad when you get stuck on something because you'll have no direction to go, but I guess this is how maths feels like in a certain level, afterall. Its exactly as the analogy used by Edward Frenkel in one of his lectures on the Langlands' Program, maths is like a puzzle you don't know the final picture.

Buying digital copies of music is so hard nowadays... iTunes seems to be the only option for some artists since most of them aren't on Bandcamp. I'm sad that I'll have to rely on a bigh tech company, unfortunately. Either I listen through Spotify (that isin't available to my dumbphone) or I buy albums through an Apple service.
